ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Thousands of people gathered at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque Sunday morning for the 52nd annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
Balloonists and spectators were greeted with a drone show before the green flag was raised and mass ascension began. Hundreds of pilots were able to take off, and Sunday saw the appearance of some new special-shape balloons.
