Its a sad commentary on our Raton Police Department. The only reason everyone contacts the Colfax County Sheriff’s department is because the Raton Police Department won’t provide any public information at all. They’d rather let rumors fly than to provide a press release or public service announcement. The public deserves to be kept informed and not depend on rumors and speculation on social media.
