(The Hill) – Former President Trump is blasting Howard Stern, saying the SiriusXM host has “changed” and is now “woke.”
“I was on Howard Stern’s show as much as anybody,” Trump said during a Wednesday night appearance on Fox News’s “Gutfeld!”

“He was great at that time,” Trump recalled of his frequent interviews on the shock jock’s long-running radio program.
“And then he went woke,” Trump said.

“And since he’s gone woke, his ratings have gone down the tubes. And he sort of went anti-Trump for a couple of reasons,” the 45th president said. SiriusXM does not release ratings for its programming.
Stern — who in the past described Trump as a friend, but grew increasingly critical of the former “Celebrity Apprentice” host during his presidency — said last year that he embraced the term “woke.”
“I kind of take that as a compliment, that I’m ‘woke,’” he told “Howard Stern Show” listeners.
“To me, the opposite of woke is being asleep,” Stern said at the time.
“And if woke means I can’t get behind [former President Trump], which is what I think it means, or that I support people who want to be transgender, or I’m for the vaccine — dude, call me woke as you f‑‑‑ing want,” Stern, 70, said.
During his appearance on “Gutfeld!” Trump recalled appearing as a guest on Stern’s show “a lot.”
“Did you ever see the ‘Best of Howard Stern?’ I don’t want to promote it, necessarily, but I was there for just about all of them,” Trump told host Greg Gutfeld.
“We had good shows. It was good.”
