Dry conditions return to New Mexico today. Temperatures begin to rise across the state.
A dry air mass settled over New Mexico early this morning. This has lead to a day of no rainfall across the state. These conditions will continue through tomorrow.
A combination of a Low Pressure to the west and a High Pressure to the east is aiding the return of moisture to New Mexico on Friday. Isolated storms in eastern New Mexico are expected Friday afternoon.
A cold front moves into the state on Saturday. Storms will have preference to form along the front. This means that northern and eastern New Mexico will have the highest chance for rain on Saturday. It will also be possible for central New Mexico to a few showers as well.
The state dries off once again on Sunday. Rain only be along the New Mexico/ Texas border. The cool temperatures continue as fall officially kicks off on Sunday.
