ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Multi-Agency Task Force is investigating an in-custody death involving the Albuquerque Police Department on Thursday, September 12.

APD says officers were initially responding to a domestic violence call in the 3700 block of Bryn Mawr Dr. An armed suspect inside the residence refused to make contact with officers and a SWAT team was called to assist with the incident. After securing a warrant, SWAT members entered the residence and discovered the suspect was dead inside. The Multi-Agency Task Force is investigating the incident as an in-custody death.
