New Mexico continues to dry out 

Most of New Mexico will be seeing another warm and dry day. Best chances for rain later today are in the Northern Mountains.

The Monsoon High continue to weaken today. However, the moisture persists in certain region of New Mexico. This moisture will provide chances for rain across Northern and Western New Mexico. The Northern Mountains will have the best chance for rain later this afternoon and into the evening. Central and Southern New Mexico are expected to remain dry today.

Additionally, Central and Southern New Mexico will see temperatures back in the 90’s. This hot weather shouldn’t last through the weekend.

Thursday a Low Pressure system builds over the Pacific Northwest. This Low will bring dry westerly wind to New Mexico and drastically dry out the state on Thursday. The state won’t stray dry for long though. Friday through the weekend rain chances return for Norther and Western New Mexico. On Sunday, rain chances will be nearly statewide.
