At the No. 15 spot is Sparky’s Burgers, BBQ & Espresso in Hatch, New Mexico. Sparky’s has grown to be a major roadside attraction known for its burgers, great barbecue, and live music. Elites love the “world famous” green chile double cheeseburger — bonus that it’s big enough to share. Some Elites even say the line out the door for this burger is worth it since service moves so quickly. Other reviews note the eclectic decor and tasty Hatch green chile. Located at 115 Franklin St. in Hatch, NM, Sparky’s is open Thursday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Coming in at No. 19 is Santa Fe Bite in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This spot is located inside Garrett’s Desert Inn on Old Santa Fe Trail. They proudly serve their famous green chile cheeseburger, which many Elites say can’t be missed. The burger patties are also huge and give that homemade nostalgic feel. If you’re really hungry, check out “The Big Bite,” which is a whopping 15-ounce burger. Other reviews note the friendly service and consistent local patronage. Located at 1616 St Micheals Dr. in Santa Fe, NM, Santa Fe Bite is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
