Man receives sentence for Albuquerque deadly shooting in 2022 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man convicted of shooting another man at an Albuquerque apartment complex in 2022 was sentenced to prison on Thursday.

Investigators said Kevin McKinney shot and killed Corey Langford near Indian School Road and Louisiana Boulevard. Police said McKinney was involved in an argument about an attempted gun purchase when he shot and killed Langford.

McKinney ran off to Arizona and was caught a few days later. He will spend 25 years behind bars.
