ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Getting a driver’s license is an exciting milestone for most teens, but according to the CDC, motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death of U.S. teens. WalletHub recently released its rankings of the best and worst states for teen drivers in 2024.
New Mexico ranked number 34 overall on the list, with surrounding states Arizona ranking 31 and Colorado at 32.
