Santa Fe police arrest man accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon 

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe Police arrested 56-year-old Ernesto Zamora accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on August 24, 2024.


Woman accused of ramming into Albuquerque Police Department vehicles

Officers were called to the 2900 block of Cerrillos Rd to a report of an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officers arrived located the victim, who was an employee at local business. Police say the victim told them he confronted the suspect and asked him to leave the property/ The suspect refused to leave and retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and confronted the victim while holding the gun. The suspect eventually returned to his vehicle and left the area.

Police got a description of the vehicle and located it in the area. Zamora was detained and arrested on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. A female passenger was also arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Police say the case is under active investigation.
