SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A 60-year-old Santa Fe man was arrested for shooting a 61-year-old man with an airsoft-type gun, according to the police department.
Officers responded to the area of North Guadalupe Street and Jefferson Street Thursday morning after receiving a report that a man had been shot and was bleeding from his face and head.

The 61-year-old victim was found with injuries to his face and was taken to the hospital for “non-life threatening injuries,” police said.
While canvassing the area, officers contacted Steven Lemon and he admitted to shooting at the victim with a “pepper ball gun.” Lemon was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence.
