SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A semi-trailer truck carrying bags of demolition debris from Los Alamos National Laboratory overturned north of Santa Fe on Monday. The truck was traveling to waste control specialists in Andrews, Texas.
A nuclear emergency support team was dispatched to the site as a precaution. They discovered that none of the bags were breached. Los Alamos National Lab said they tested the material before being transported and it is not radioactive.
