ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating after a person was killed in a single vehicle crash early Monday morning.

APD says around 3 a.m. officers responded to a fatal crash at the intersection of Central and Elm. Police says initial investigation showed a black Mitsubishi was traveling east on Central and drove across westbound lanes and struck a tree. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on scene and was the only person in the vehicle.
