ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Little Theater is celebrating its 95th anniversary. The Theater is introducing a new executive director, Rob Armstrong Martin and will debut its season opening performance, of the rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar.

The performance takes on issues like mental health, drugs and suicide and can help the audience feel empathy for these issues that affect people today. For the upcoming season Albuquerque Little Theater will be making some changes to the lobby and upstairs cantina. The theater also has plans to be more impactful in youth education and local workforce development. Jesus Christ Superstar will open on August 30 and run through September 16.
