PHOTOS: Albuquerque Fire Rescue saves small dog from house fire 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue shared photos of the moments firefighters saved a small dog from a house fire. On Wednesday afternoon, August 14, crews were called out to a fire involving two homes near Broadway Boulevard and Avenida Cesar Chavez.

While searching the homes and putting out the fire, crews found the small dog. Firefighters were able to save the dog, give it oxygen, and put out the fire within 45 minutes of arrival.

AFR says both homes suffered significant damage, and two people had minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
