Free fraud and scam seminar to be held at Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Local law enforcement and Bank of America are hosting a free seminar with the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce to help keep New Mexicans safe from online scams.


2 Albuquerque city councilors plan to withdraw controversial tipped minimum wage bill

At the workshop, officials will discuss how scammers trick people, including the top five scams facing the public right now. The seminar will also cover identity theft, spotting red flags, and resources available to the public to help navigate the internet safely.

The event will be held at the Hispano Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Aug.15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
