​In Loving Memory of Sharon J. Chosvig 

Sharon J. Chosvig, age 80, died on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at her home in Clayton, New Mexico.

A private memorial for the family will be held at a later date in Colorado. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Sharon J. (Paddosk) Chosvig was born on December 30, 1944, in Rifle, Colorado to Phillip Paddock and Lenore (Cutshall) Paddock. She grew up and attended school in De Beque, Colorado. They moved to Salina, Kansas for a year and then returned to De Beque where Sharon graduated from De Beque High School. One of her fondest childhood memories was of going to her grandparents homestead every year in Roan Creek, Colorado. Sharon married Jack Chosvig on February 19, 1965, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Grand Junction, Colorado. In 1967 they moved to Kenai, Alaska where they lived until 1995. They moved to Denver for a couple of years and then returned to Kenai, Alaska before moving to Clayton, New Mexico. Sharon’s favorite job was her bookstore and upholstery business. She was a very loving wife and a wonderful homemaker and grandmother and loved her family dearly. Sharon was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and by her two sisters and their husbands, Beverly and Bill Rowe and Myrna and Orie Francis.

HUSBAND: Jack Chosvig of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 DAUGHTERS: Stephanie Johnson and her husband Patrick and Ellen Lawrence and her husband John all of Clayton, New Mexico.

6 GRANDCHILDREN: Aryal Culloms and her husband Trent, Abbygale Lawrence and her fiancé Ali Garcia and Luke Johnson all of Amarillo, Texas, Ethan Lawrence and his wife Reiylee of Jacksonville, Florida, Alyssa Stratton of Clayton, New Mexico and Sydney Johnson of Lubbock, Texas.
