Bosque School receives 10 3D printers for student use

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A private school in Albuquerque got to tear into some fun new toys on Wednesday. Bosque School students will now have access to 3D printers, donated by Polymaker. The printers will support the school’s STEAM program.

The company also threw in a long-term supply of filament for the kids. “We’ve got a lot of individuals who are really into building those robotics. Taking that 3D printing technology, giving that advanced, giving that ability to take something that’s an idea, and literally bring it into fruition is amazing,” said Amer Child, Founder of Maker’s Mission.

The school said students will not only engage with new cutting-edge technology but also learn about the network of makers and partners supporting educational access to emerging tools. Non-profit organization Maker’s Mission helped connect the school to Polymaker.
