Albuquerque real estate company donates more than $32K to Beds4Kidz

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A local real estate company has raised thousands of dollars to provide beds for kids in need. Helping Properties Albuquerque donated over $32,000 to Beds4Kidz on Monday. It’s a local non-profit dedicated to providing the necessary comfort to many New Mexicans.

“We have a program where it’s pretty easy to get some free beds. the sad part is that there’s a waiting list, and this big check is going to help us a lot. We operated off the kindness of strangers. No government support or funding,” said Steve Stucker, Beds4Kidz founder.

The non-profit has donated over 21,000 beds since its inception. Helping Properties Albuquerque also recently completed its own fundraiser called Flip4Kidz, where they bought, renovated, and donated a home.
