Albuquerque student clothing drive being held in early May

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and Locker #505 Student Clothing Bank are partnering up to hold the 13th annual Recyclothes Clothing Donation Drive. Locals are asked to bring gently-used clothes for K-12 students.

The drive is on May 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hinkle Family Fun Center. Locker #505’s website lists these items as urgently needed:

  • Boys shirts: 7, 12, and 16 
  • Boys jeans/sweatpants/basketball shorts: 6 – 18
  • Girls shirts: 6, 7, 8, 12, 14, 16 and 18 
  • Girls jeans/sweatpants/leggings: 6 – 18 
  • Men’s sweatpants: Small – 3X 
  • Women’s sweatpants:: Large, XL and 2X 
  • Boys and Girls coats: 6 – 18
  • Men’s shoes (new): 7, 11.5 and 14
  • Boys shoes (new): 11 and 12 
  • Girls shoes (new): 12, 12 and 1 
  • Women’s shoes (new): 6

The drive is also accepting underwear, new makeup kits, new hygienic products, and new or used toys.
