AFR team rescues dog stranded below Central Ave. bridge 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue went into action Thursday to save a dog’s life. An AFR team responded to reports of a stranded dog near the Central Ave. bridge on the Rio Grande.

They trekked the river and brought the dog to safety. They named the pup Easter Egg, and it was turned over to the animal welfare department.
