Kevin Patton Jr and brother Kallai commit to UNM men’s basketball 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former USC guard Kevin Patton Jr. has committed to Eric Olen and the New Mexico men’s basketball program. The six-foot-eight Patton doesn’t plan to come to Loboland alone. His six-foot-four brother Kallai, who joined Kevin at USC as a walk-on guard, said on social media Monday that he, too had committed to UNM.

Kevin averaged 3.1 points and 1.2 rebounds per game with the Trojans last season. He only averaged 8.1 minutes per game. Prior to that, Kevin starred at San Diego University in his freshman year, averaging 9.8 points, 2.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds. At San Diego, he played a little over 26 minutes per game. Kevin tied the team lead for steals with 42. He also made the WCC All-Freshman team.
