North Domingo Baca Park now has designated food truck parking

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Food trucks now have their own designated spaces to operate at a popular Albuquerque park. The Parks and Recreation Department has added three designated food truck parking spaces at North Domingo Baca Park, marking them with red paint on the ground and posted signs.

The city says food trucks are a mainstay at the park, and they wanted to give them space to serve customers. “Oh, my gosh, we just couldn’t express how deeply thankful and grateful that they are not kicking us out, but that they are inviting us, giving us a permanent home. My heart is just beyond touched,” says David Le, owner and operator of Bing Tea.

The city says, at this point, they are not looking at adding food truck spaces at other parks.
