CHAVES COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — A multi-million dollar roadway rehabilitation project north of Roswell is set to start on Thursday. Drivers should expect delays when traveling through the area of US 285 north.
This will impact milepost 115 to milepost 125 on that highway. Drivers can expect a single-lane closure in this area during the project’s working hours, which are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The project, contracted out to Mountain States Constructors, is expected to be finished by the end of July.
Until then, drivers are asked to expect delays and use caution in the area.
