NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – How has the allegiance to the brands we support changed in the past year? Yelp has comprised a list for the second year in a row focusing on the top 50 Fastest Growing Brands in the country.
Yelp says that following years of high inflation, 2025 has seen a shift to more value brands across restaurants, retailers, and food businesses. Of those restaurants, almost half of them offer some sort of value meal offerings.
The top of the list reflects this, with Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and Dollar Tree taking the first and second spots, respectively. These were those businesses that debuted on the list, and HomeGoods shot 45 spots to the number four slot.
Jersey Mike’s Subs shot up four spots from last year to number six. Panda Express also shot up into the top 10 to sit at number eight. Costco Wholesale also shot up considerably from last year 27 slots to where it sits this year at number 16.
A lot of fast food restaurants debuted on the list including McDonald’s (No. 25), Del Taco (No. 27), Taco Bell (No. 33), Quiznos (No. 39), and Sonic Drive-In (No. 44). When it comes to cheap breakfast spots, Waffle House reigns supreme at No. 36 while IHOP (No. 41) squeaked out in front of Denny’s (No. 42) by one spot.
