ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Black and Yellow Report is a new weekly show covering all things New Mexico United. The half-hour show will feature a mix of exclusive player and coach interviews, match recaps, and analysis.
In this week’s inaugural show, KRQE Sports Director Van Tate, KRQE Sports Reporter Jared Chester, and Digital Sports Reporter Bradley Benson show game highlights, talk with Head Coach Dennis Sanchez and more.
To start it off, New Mexico United won its first win of the season against Las Vegas Lights FC. The match had a bit of everything as United had a two-goal lead, Las Vegas equalized in the 90th minute, and then the black and yellow scored the winning goal in stoppage time.
The 3-2 win marked the first for Head Coach Dennis Sanchez. Van Tate spoke with Sanchez about the win against his former club.

Up next for New Mexico United is the club’s first home match of the season. It will be against rival club El Paso Locomotive on Saturday at 3 p.m.
