ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Hobbs girl’s basketball team is back in familiar territory — the state championship game. The Lady Eagles clinched a spot in the title game by way of a 71-38 victory over Carlsbad on Thursday.
Bhret Clay led all scorers with 18 points. Brynn Hargrove had 13. Carlsbad guard Abbey Dugan had a team-high of 12.

Hobbs and Sandia will now face off for the 5A championship on Saturday. The game will tip off at 2 p.m.
