ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The top ranked team in girl’s class 4A, Kirtland Central, trailed No. 4 Valencia by 132in the third quarter. The Broncos came back to win by 13 and a score of 51-38.
While KC was only limited to 14 first-half points, the defending state champion exploded for 37 in the second, including 22 in the 4th quarter. The team shot 43% over the final two quarters.

With the win, Kirtland Central is back in the state championship game for a 4th consecutive year. The Broncos will play No. 2 Gallup on Friday at 7 p.m.
