Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller announces intention to run for reelection 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller is officially announcing his intention to run for office again. Keller took first took office in 2017, after serving in the state Senate and as a state auditor.

If reelected, it would be Keller’s third term as city mayor, more terms than any Albuquerque mayor in the past. Three other candidates have already announced their intention to run. Former Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White, retired firefighter Eddie Varela and former Sandoval County Deputy Manger Mayling Armijo.

The election takes place on November 4, 2025.
