ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Vortex Theatre is gearing up for its newest performance, a new and exciting production of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

This version of the piece asks who is Hamlet now and who was he before he was engulfed in sadness and rage. Shakespeare can be a little overwhelming, but The Vortex Theatre is presenting it in a way that more approachable and without losing the essential story of Hamlet. A second production, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, will also be running at the Vortex Theatre. The two stories are intertwined and explore friendship, fate and the meaning of life.
