Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy arrested for assault in Texas 

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) — Another Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver has found himself behind bars in a Texas jail, according to court records.

On Friday, Chiefs star rookie Xavier Worthy, 21, was arrested in Williamson County, Texas after investigators said he assaulted a family member or person in his household by “impeding their breathing or circulation.

This comes about one year after an arrest warrant was issued against wide receiver Rashee Rice for his involvement in a six-car crash on March 30, 2024.

A few weeks later, he turned himself into police, and according to previous reporting, the warrant was for one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision involving injury.
