APD says officers were called to a Walgreens on Eubank and Menaul after two people walked in armed. Police say the suspects ordered everyone to get down while they took money from the registers. Police say at least one round was fired during the incident. APD says the money had trackers attached and officers were able to track the suspects to a home in the area. As officers surveilled the home, they observed two suspects that walked out.

One suspect was armed and stood watch while the other attempted to open doors on several vehicles in the area. Officers confronted the suspects, one suspect fled on foot and police say the other suspect produced a rifle. Officers fired their weapons, killing the suspect that produced the rifle. Police identified Daniel Gino Harris as the suspect who was killed. The second suspect was identified as Gregory Armstead, who was charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery
