SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Santa Fe is helping residents get ready for planting season. The Santa Fe Seed Library is opening for the 2025 season later this month. The library, operated by the Santa Fe Extension Master Gardeners’ Seed Stewards, will soon contain thousands of open-pollinated vegetable, herb, and flower seeds donated by local growers and seed companies.
Visitors will be able to take five packets of seeds. The opening is March 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Southside Public Library.
