ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Three people are in police custody and facing charges related to a homicide in the South Valley last year. In October 2024, BCSO deputies responded to a home near Atrisco and Bridge, finding two people dead.
According to the complaint, deputies believe Armijo helped orchestrate one of the victims. Deputies say Israel Tijerina questioned Armijo about the incident during a call from MDC.
They also say another man, Jay Kriling, knew specific information bout the homicide. Tijerina is facing a murder charge, while Armijo and Kriling are facing conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
The state has asked for each of them to be held behind bars through trial.
