NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – A Temporary Area Closure Order has been issued within the Mt. Taylor Ranger District, Cibola National Forest, McKinley County. The closure order will be in effect from February 11, 2025, at 2 p.m. through February 14, 2025 at 4 p.m.

The closure order is to protect the public during a planned U.S. Army missile launch, including pre-launch periods, near the Fort Wingate Army Depot. People exempt from the order include any federal, state, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting resource in the performing of an official duty. Any federal personnel performing official duties related to the planned missile launch.
