Three teens connected to deadly attempted robbery in Albuquerque will be held until trial

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – At least three of the teens arrested following a botched armed robbery, that turned deadly for one of their own, are staying locked up for now. A judge ruled that 15-year-old Jeriah Salas, 17-year-old Vicente Pino, and 16-year-old Jocelyn Sedillo, would pose a danger to the community if released from jail.

Police said the three were part of a group that tried to rob a woman at an apartment complex off Tramway Blvd. north of I-40 on Wednesday. Investigators said Salas and another teen, Alonzo Sanderson, shot the woman then her husband returned fire, killing Sanderson.

In total, police arrested seven teens for that armed robbery.
