BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A man wanted on child sexual exploitation charges in New Mexico was arrested in Texas.
On Dec. 16, a felony warrant was issued in the Bernalillo Metropolitan Court, charging Daniel Stumbo, 44, with one count of sexual exploitation of children (possession) and 14 counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Investigators with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the United States Marshals Service learned Stumbo had moved to Gonzales, Texas, about one hour outside of San Antonio.
On Jan. 7, members of the United States Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Stumbo without incident. He was booked into the Gonzales County Jail on the New Mexico warrant.
