City of Albuquerque launching downtown scavenger hunt

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque is launching a city-wide scavenger hunt to highlight the recently updated turquoise wayfinding directional maps. Those who participate will have a change to win prizes.

The Snap & Seek Downtown event kicks off on Friday, Jan. 10, and runs through Friday, Jan. 17.

How to Play:

Find all six new turquoise wayfinding maps in Downtown Albuquerque.
Snap a selfie with each map.
Post each photo on your personal Instagram Story and tag @dtabq.acd
Send a direct message to Downtown Albuquerque MainStreet via Instagram (@dtabq.acd) with “Scavenger Hunt Completed!”

Scavenger hunt requirements:

Participants must be 18 or older.
Must post all 6 photos.
Photos must be posted publicly on Instagram.
Only one prize per participant will be awarded.
Winners will be notified after verification of their entries.

Participants will be entered into a drawing, where four winners will each receive a $25 DowntownABQ digital gift card that can be used at 28 Downtown businesses. Visit dtabqmainstreet.org to see the full list of participating businesses.
