BioPark readies Heritage Farms renovations debut 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – After two years of renovations, Heritage Farms at the ABQ BioPark is getting ready to open later this week. The $13 million project has stretched the original entrance closer to the Botanic Gardens, as well as added two acres of pastures for livestock to roam in.

It also added more orchards, outdoor classroom space, a new train, and additional livestock. Construction started in 2023, with officials originally hoping it would only last one year.

The BioPark is expected to reopen Heritage Farms this Tuesday.
