ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former U.S. Attorney for New Mexico Alexander Uballez is throwing his hat in the ring to be Albuquerque’s next mayor. Uballez will make a formal announcement on Saturday. He will be competing against incumbent Tim Keller as well as Mayling Armijo, Eddie Varela, Patrick Sais, Darren White, Louis Sanchez, and Daniel Chavez.
Candidates are now collecting signatures to get on the ballot. The election is in November.
