LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State University (NMSU) says more students have had their visas revoked by the federal government. The university previously confirmed to News 13 that six international students had their visas revoked.
Now, they have confirmed that three more students have also had their visas revoked, bringing the known total to nine students. UNM confirmed to News 13 on Thursday that a “small number” of students also had their records terminated, but did not provide an exact number or say where the students were from.
