JEMEZ SPRINGS (KRQE) – A popular geological location in New Mexico will reopen in May.
The U.S. Forest Service said the Gilman Tunnels, located in the Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest, are still undergoing a rock stabilization project that originally started in October.

The area will remain closed to all traffic, including motorized, non-motorized, and foot, until May 2.
