ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Part of eastbound Interstate 40 will be reduced to one lane on Sunday as maintenance is carried out. This will impact the area near Carnuel from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The eastbound lane restrictions at NM 333 and I-40 will also affect the on-ramp in that area. The closures will be intermittent, with detours available. Nonetheless, drivers can expect delays.
Caution should be used in these work zones, including a reduction in speed when driving through the area. Drivers are asked to keep a lookout for crews as well as equipment. Work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
