Another Power lifting competition was held in Tiger Gym on Monday March 17, 2025, where three Raton lifters, Jennifer Mattorano, Russell Simmons and Josh Mastrontoni qualified to go to the state powerlifting competition to be held April 4-5 at the Rio Rancho Event Center.
Jennifer Mattorano during her power lift won her weight class and will move on to the state power lifting competitionRussell Simmons during his bench press will also compete in the state power lifting competition.Russell Simmons during his power lift will move on to state competition.Josh Mastrontoni placed well enough to move on to the state competition coming up later this month.
