I-10 closed from Arizona to Las Cruces due to blowing dust, low visibility

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – I-10 is closed in both directions from the Arizona state line to the Las Cruces airport due to blowing dust and low visibility, according to NMRoads. U.S. 180, N.M. 549, N.M. 11 and N.M. 26 area all also closed in the area due to blowing dust and low visibility.

All traffic is being asked to shelter in place. Shelter in place locations are Lordsburg, Las Cruces, truck stops or the Las Cruces Airport. The New Mexico Department of Transportation will monitor road conditions in the area and will update the status of the road as conditions change.
