ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The National Weather Service has issued a dust storm warning for I-25, I-40, and US 550 near Albuquerque. The dust storm warning is in effect until 4:25 p.m.

Drivers are encouraged to stay of the roads during a dust storm. Anyone on the roads should be ready for a sudden drop to zero visibility. The National Weather Service has also issued dust storm warnings for areas near Ruidoso, Roswell and Chaves County.
NWS Tips for dust storms:
Pull off road as far as posisble
Stop and turn off all lights
Set the emergency break
Take your foot off the brake, make sure taillights aren’t illuminated
