Victim’s finger amputated after being bit multiple times by man in New Mexico

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – An unidentified man had to get one of his fingers amputated and another one partially amputated after he was bitten multiple times by a Zuni Pueblo man, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Darold Zuniefeathers, 28, and the victim had been hanging out with friends between Dec. 16, 2021, and Dec. 17, 2021, when they decided to buy more cigarettes before the gas station closed, according to court documents.

Investigators said Zuniefeathers instead drove down a side dirt road and began to hit and bite the victim all over his body.
