ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue said an abandoned adult video store on Central Ave. burned down. Around 4 a.m. on Friday, 19 AFR units responded to the structure fire which was brought under control within an hour and a half.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No one was injured. “This structure is well known to AFR crews since it has burned down multiple times. This fire resulted in the collapse of the roof and multiple walls,” said AFR Lt. Jason Fejer.
AFR said the structure is a total loss but crews were able to stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.
