Robertson advances to 4th consecutive championship game 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Prior to the 2021-2022 season, Robertson had never played in a state championship game. The Cardinals are now in it for a fourth consecutive year.

In Friday’s state semifinal game against No. 6 Santa Fe Indian, the No. 2 Cardinals won 64-35.

Jesse James Gonzales and George Smith tied for a game-high 14 points. Nathan Gonzales had 14 rebounds. As a team, the Cardinals limited the Braves to 34.4% shooting.

Robertson will play St. Michael’s for the blue trophy on Saturday at noon.
