ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Its not often that a team generates a running clock during the quarterfinal round in the Pit. Roswell was able to do it against Farmington.
The four seeded Roswell took control of its game against No. 12 Farmington in all areas of the floor. The Coyotes skill and athleticism was on full display as the team generated 51 first-half points. Roswell won the game 76-41.
A multitude of players contributed to the Coyote success. Five players scored in double-figures, five recorded at least five rebounds and four recorded at least two steals.
For the game, Roswell shot 28-50 (56%) from the field and 9-18 (50%) from three-point range.
Roswell is now in the semi-final round on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. The Coyotes will play the winner of Volcano Vista and La Cueva.
